Bring your recyclables items to two drop-off sites within the Town of Smithfield. The following locations are available to recyclable materials:
- 231 Hospital Road - Smithfield Operations Center at the intersection of Hospital Road and Buffalo Road. Operating Hours are Monday-Friday 7:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon and 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
- The Johnston County Recycling Center is located on N. Bright Leaf Boulevard next to Jones Brothers Furniture. Their hours are Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. and Saturday 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.
