SMITHFIELD POLICE DEPARTMENT ASKING FOR HELP IN ARMED ROBBERY

On August 24, 2017 at 2:47 AM, Officers with the Smithfield Police Department were dispatched to CVS Pharmacy (1180 North Brightleaf Blvd, Smithfield) in regards to an armed robbery.
Two black males entered the store armed with handguns and had their faces covered with bandanas. At the time of the incident there were two store employees inside the business. One suspect forced the pharmacist at gun point to turn over prescription medications . The second suspect forced the store clerk , who was stocking shelves, to the front of the business. The suspects fled the scene in a dark in color Chevrolet truck. Neither store employees were injured during the incident.
Suspect 1 was described as a Black male approximately 5'10, 170 lbs, possibly 25 years old and was wearing tan shirt, dark pants and shoes with a red/white bandana covering his face.
Suspect 2 was described as a Black male approximately 5'10", 150 lbs, approximately 25 years old and was wearing a black long sleeve shirt, black pants with white stripe down the leg and a red  cover his face.
