The Junior Women’s League of Smithfield (JWL) is proud to announce its 10th Annual Touch-A-Truck event, taking place Saturday, November 1, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. in Downtown Smithfield.
This milestone year promises to be the biggest celebration yet, offering children and families across Johnston County a fun, hands-on opportunity to see, touch, and safely explore their favorite big trucks, service vehicles, and heavy machinery. Visitors will meet the men and women who protect, serve, and build our community while enjoying an unforgettable family experience.
Event Highlights
- Emergency vehicles, tractors, construction machinery, farm equipment, service and delivery trucks, and more
- Little Wheelers Playland featuring bounce houses, games, face painting, and special guests ($5 all-access pass)
- Train rides for $2 each
- Fueling Station Food Court with a variety of local food trucks
- Children’s swag bags, games, and surprises throughout the day
Admission is FREE, and all are welcome! Guests may purchase $5 all-access passes for the Little Wheelers Playland and $2 train ride tickets, with both cash and credit cards accepted throughout the event.
Supporting Johnston County
Proceeds from Touch-A-Truck directly benefit Johnston County through JWL’s ongoing initiatives, including the Johnston County Blessing Boxes, scholarships for women, and Community Impact Grants for local nonprofits serving women and children. Since 2016, JWL has invested more than $195,000 back into Johnston County and contributed over 17,500 hours of community service.
