Planned Power Outage
Occasionally, the Town of Smithfield will schedule a necessary “Planned Power Outage” in order to perform maintenance and equipment upgrades to the electrical system. Because we are aware of how inconvenient power outages can be, we make every effort to keep these outages as brief as possible. We also try to make every attempt to notify our customers in advance by leaving door hangers, posts on social media and updating our website.
