Pursuant to General Statutes of NC, 143-129, sealed bids shall be accepted by the Town of Smithfield, Smithfield, North Carolina until 9:00 AM, Friday, October 17, 2025, at which time bids shall be opened for the review and subsequent purchase consideration of the following services specified below:

Patching is withdrawn from the scope of work.
We will be milling at 2.5" and paved back with 2.5" S9.5C
S. Fifth St. to Brogden Rd (Mill 2.5) replace, S. Fifth St. to US 301 (Mill 2.5) replace
NP-1 Notice to Proceed and complete work is changed from 75 to 224 days to complete the work.
Streets that are paved above gutter milling that could vary to achieve 1.5" depth along the curb to pave flush: 300 Block Fourth Street, 100 Block S. Second Street, and 1000 Block S. First Street.
The Town of Smithfield reserves the right to reject any and all bids.

Pursuant to North Carolina General Statutes 143-129, the Town of Smithfield will receive proposals for Construction Services for the South Smithfield Water Line Extension Project until 2:00pm, on October 23, 2025, in the Town of Smithfield Public Utilities Department Conference Room, 230 Hospital Road, Smithfield, North Carolina 27577. No proposals will be accepted after the official time and date.
