The Town of Smithfield will begin a multi-week street resurfacing project the week of March 16, with work scheduled across several neighborhoods throughout town.

The project will be completed in phases over the coming weeks as crews move from street to street. During this time, residents and motorists may notice temporary lane closures, equipment in the roadway, and occasional parking restrictions while work is underway. Drivers are encouraged to slow down in work zones and use caution around crews and equipment.
