DATE CHANGE – JOINT MEETING RESCHEDULED

Due to the threat of inclement weather, the Joint Meeting with Town of Smithfield staff and the Market Street Task Force originally scheduled for Monday, March 16 has been postponed to Monday, March 23 at 6:00 p.m.

The meeting will cover upcoming changes affecting Market Street and downtown traffic, including:

• NCDOT’s removal of on-street parking along Market Street
• The Town’s plan to implement one-way street pairs downtown
• Traffic and safety updates
• A Q&A session with town and state officials

Downtown business owners and community members are encouraged to attend.
