This Unified Development Ordinance (UDO) specifies minimum
standards for land use and development within the Town of Smithfield’s
planning jurisdiction. The regulations contained herein may exceed
minimum State or Federal standards, but in no case should be
considered to be less than minimum State or Federal standards
