Smithfield's Christmas Festival is Here!
Join us in Downtown Smithfield for our brand new, two-day event to kick-off the holiday season. The Christmas Tree Lighting Festival will be held Friday, November 29th and Saturday, November 30th. Celebrate the season with family and friends while supporting our local community. Here’s what to expect:
November 29th
Shop Small, Shop Local Vendor Market (100 block of S. 3rd St. and N. 3rd St.)
12:00 PM - 7:00 PM
Discover unique gifts from local artisans, crafters, downtown boutiques and shops, and food vendors.
Holiday Performances (Library Corner - 3rd St. and Market St.)
Get ready for a day filled with festive performances leading up to our magical tree lighting!
Carriage Rides (Departing from S. 3rd St. and the Courthouse)
6:00 PM - 9:00 PM | $25 per group (4-6 adults)
Enjoy a charming ride through our beautifully decorated streets, with proceeds benefiting the Isaiah 117 House, which helps supports children entering foster care and awaiting placement in our community.
Opening Ceremony & Tree Lighting
5:30 PM - Join us at Town Hall Commons for the opening ceremony and Festival of Trees lighting.
7:00 PM - Watch as Santa helps our Mayor light the tree at the Library corner. Enjoy carolers performing before and after this special moment!
November 30th
FREE Showing of Polar Express (Howell Theater)
