Town of Smithfield Easter Egg Hunt

Date: Sunday, March 29th

Time: 3:00pm

Location: Smithfield Community Park (600 M Durwood Stephenson Pkwy, Smithfield, NC)

Fee: FREE!

Ages: 3-12

Don't be late for an important date with the Easter Bunny! The egg hunt will start at 3:00pm sharp, so arrive early. Please be sure to bring your own basket/bucket to collect eggs. There will be bounce houses, face painting, raffles, and more!

Queen of Hearts Mother Son Dance

Date: Saturday, April 11th

Time: 6:30 pm -8:30 pm

Location: Smithfield Recreation and Aquatic Center (600 M Durwood Stephenson Pkwy)

Fee: $35 per Smithfield Couple $45 per Non- Smithfield Couple $10 each additional Son

Ages: 3 and up You can register in person at the Aquatic Center or online at www.smithfield-nc.com. To get the multiple son discount call 919-934-2148.

Ham & Yam Hog Trot 5K Run & Piglet Stampede

Date: Saturday, May 2nd

Time: Piglet Stampede Kids Run starts at 8:30am and the Hog Trot 5K starts at 9:00am

Location: Bob Wallace Jaycee Kiddie Park (306 S Second St, Smithfield, NC)

Fee: $40 for the Hog Trot 5K and $10 for the Piglet Stampede

Join us on Saturday, May 2nd in downtown Smithfield, NC as part of the 40th annual Ham & Yam Festival for the exciting Hog Trot 5K and the half-mile Piglet Stampede! The starting point for both the 5K and the Piglet Stampede will be the Girl Scout Hut located at 306 S. Second Street, Smithfield, NC with the stampede starting at 8:30am and the 5K starting at 9:00am. Both races will be ran on and turned around on the scenic Neuse River Greenway. 2026 River Jam Concert Series

Located: 150 S Front Street, Smithfield, NC 27577 - Neuse River Amphitheater

All Concerts start at 7:00pm. Food starts at 6:30pm. Bring a blanket or chair and come enjoy the show.
