KINDER SPORTS FOR 2024
All Kinder Sports are for children ages 3-4.
KINDER SOCCER
Registration for Kinder Soccer opens July 15, and continues until sessions are full. All our Kinder Programs are for boys and girls ages 3-4, and are basically an introduction into the sport. Our Kinder programs only meet two weeks / for a total of 4 days.
We have added extra sessions for Kinder. (We can take up to 15 in each session.)
SESSION 1: (Mondays and Wednesdays) 6:00-6:45pm
SESSION 2: (Mondays and Wednesdays) 7:00-7:45pm
SESSION 3: (Tuesdays and Thursdays) 6:00-6:45pm / FULL
SESSION 4: (Tuesdays and Thursdays) 7:00-7:45pm
Registration Fees - $20/Smithfield Resident / $40/Non-Smithfield Resident
All sessions will be held on Smithfield Community Park Field #4

YOUTH FOOTBALL / Registration Extended until 7/26/24
We will begin signing up for Youth Football June 1st, and registration has been extended until July 19th. We participate in the Johnston County Youth Football League (Corinth-Holders, Four Oaks, Pine Level, Princeton, Rosewood, Selma, Smithfield)
ALTHOUGH REGISTRATION HAS ENDED, THERE ARE LIMITED SPOTS AVAILABLE IN EACH AGE GROUP.
Rookies: Ages 5 & 6
JV: Ages 7-9
Varsity: Ages 10-12
Child's age as of 9/1/24 determines playing age.
Most games will be played on Saturdays, typically beginning weekend after Labor Day. Practices should begin the week of August 5th. Prior to games beginning, you can expect 2-3 practices per week.
Registration: $30/Smithfield Resident $60/Non-Residents
(A "resident" defined as residing within the incorporated city limits of Smithfield.)

FOOTBALL REGISTRATION FORM 2024
YOUTH CHEERLEADING / FULL
We will begin signing up for Youth Cheerleading June 3rd, and registration will continue until July 19th. We participate in the Johnston County Youth Football League (Corinth-Holders, Four Oaks, Pine Level, Princeton, Rosewood, Selma, Smithfield). The only time we offer Cheerleading is during our Football season.
Cheerleading is open to girls ages 5-12.
Most games will be played on Saturdays, typically beginning weekend after Labor Day.
Girls will be fitted for uniforms Thursday, August 1st.
Registration: $25/Smithfield Resident $50/Non-Residents (A "resident" defined as residing within the incorporated city limits of Smithfield.)

YOUTH SOCCER
Registration for Fall Soccer begins July 1st, and continues until August 2nd. Registration is $25 for Smithfield Residents and $50 for Non-Residents. (A resident is defined as residing within the incorporated city limits of Smithfield.)
Soccer Program is broken up into the following age groups:
5/6
7/8
9/10
11/12
The child's age as of 8/1/2024 determines their playing group.
Our 5/6 year olds will play in-house. Our 7/8's, 9/10's and 11/12's have limited travel in the county, with half of their games played in Smithfield.
Drafts will be held the week of August 12th. Practices should begin late August, with games beginning after Labor Day. You can typically expect to play 1-2 games per week, possibly with a Saturday game or two. Season should run until late October.

Registration for Fall Baseball begins July 8th and continues until August 2nd.
Registration is $25 for Smithfield Residents and $50 for Non-Residents. (A resident is defined as residing within the incorporated city limits of Smithfield.)
Baseball Program is broken up into the following age groups:
7/8
9/10
11/12
13/14/15

INTERESTED IN COACHING?
Being a volunteer coach is not only an opportunity to grow our youth to become more skilled athletes but more importantly to make a positive impact on each player and teach important life skills such as teamwork, good sportsmanship, and respect. We take pride in training our coaches to be the best coach and mentor that they can be. Before each season begins we hold a one-evening Coaches Clinic to prepare our coaches with insight and materials to hit the season running. Each coach is required to fill out a Volunteer Coaching Application Form and conduct a background check.
