The Town of Smithfield has partnered with the University of Mount Olive to offer employees the following benefits:

• Waived application/confirmation fees
• 10% scholarship to participants who enroll in seated/online classes
• 30% scholarship to participants who enroll in a minimum of 12 credit hours per semester at the undergraduate level or 9 hours at the graduate level. 

All employees must submit a Trojan Alliance Partnership (TAP) Tuition Scholarship Application form (employees must have this form signed by the Town) as well as a TAP Scholarship Acknowledgment form.
