Interim Chief J.F. Grady serves as the Chief Commander for the Smithfield Police Department. He is responsible for the overall administration and operation of the police department.
Interim Chief J.F. Grady holds an Associate Degree in Criminal Justice and is an Alumnus of the 19th session of the Management Development Program (M.D.P.). He is also a veteran of the North Carolina National Guard.
